Whether in business, personal projects, or relationships, the value lies in what we build and the difference we make.
Katarzyna Krcik Anasinska
Director of Marketing and Communication
Spending over 15 years in procurement, starting from an entry-level position and progressing through nearly every role in the field, has profoundly shaped my perspective. This hands-on experience gave me a deep understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and nuances within procurement. I’ve lived the realities that many of our clients face, from managing day-to-day operations to designing strategic procurement solutions.
When I transitioned to marketing and communication, I brought this expertise with me. I’m not a marketer talking about procurement – I’m a procurement professional sharing real-life experience through the lens of marketing. My goal is to bridge the gap between the technicalities of procurement and the strategic vision we communicate to procurement leaders and industry professionals.
This unique blend of experiences allows me to connect authentically with our clients and ensure that the stories we tell are rooted in genuine understanding and value. It’s incredibly fulfilling to use my background to highlight SDI’s impact and inspire others in the procurement world.
For me, it’s impact and commitment. It’s not just about doing a job; it’s about making a real difference in everything I do. Whether it’s in business, personal projects, or relationships, I believe that what we create and the lasting impact we leave behind is what truly matters.
I really relate to the value of commitment. When I dedicate myself to something or someone, I’m all in – I won’t let them down. This holds true in my personal life with friends and family, and just as much in my professional life with colleagues, clients, and partners.
What I love about SDI the most is the opportunity to make a real impact. I’m able to propose ideas, bring them to life, and see the results in the company’s growth.
SDI has also given me the chance to step outside my comfort zone and take on responsibilities I might not have had elsewhere. The professional growth and empowerment I’ve experienced here are what convinced me to stay, far beyond what initially brought me to SDI.
I love taking on challenges, tackling the unexpected, and diving into complex projects that require serious effort and creativity. Working in procurement gives me the chance to sharpen my skills and think outside the box to find creative solutions.
Personally, I’m always up for an adventure. I do yoga and climbing, but my real passions are traveling and spending quality time with my family.
Working at SDI helps me keep a good balance between work and family, which has become even more important since the pandemic.
