What is your role at Sdi?
As SDI’s Director of IT and Integrations, I lead the ever-evolving IT Department. My role involves researching emerging technologies and trends to identify tools and systems that can enhance our company’s efficiency and innovation.
As a certified Project Manager, I oversee the implementation of impactful projects that drive SDI’s technological growth. I also manage relationships with trade vendors and service providers, working closely with industry leaders to explore potential collaborations and joint ventures.
A critical aspect of my role is ensuring seamless integration across our systems, processes, and technologies. From system upgrades to internal policies and partnerships with new vendors and customers, I am committed to building a cohesive and future-ready IT ecosystem.
What is your Sdi Story?
I joined SDI in the summer of 2012 with a drive to make an impact. What began as an opportunity to learn and adapt quickly turned into a journey of growth and transformation. I immersed myself in mastering the systems and technologies, contributing to their successful rollout and upgrades across multiple clients and geographies.
Collaborating closely with developers, I bridged the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, translating complex challenges into practical solutions. This hands-on experience sparked my passion for problem-solving and laid the groundwork for a rewarding career in IT.
How do you see technology shaping SDI’s future?
Technology is at the heart of SDI’s ability to innovate and adapt to the ever-changing needs of our clients. As we continue to expand globally, leveraging advanced IT systems and integrating AI technologies will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Our focus is on building a flexible, secure, and scalable infrastructure that supports collaboration, enhances data-driven decision-making, and ensures seamless integration with our partners and clients. I am excited about the potential of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to propel us forward and enable SDI to remain at the forefront of the procurement services industry.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy reading and attending hockey games, which is also a family favorite. As a busy mom of three active children, I value the time spent supporting their various activities and serving on their school board, where I stay closely connected to their education and community.
When I do find a quiet moment, I love relaxing with a good cup of coffee by a warm fire, spending time with my husband and our dog. These moments of pause recharge me for both my personal and professional roles.
