Interview with SDI Client Success Manager, Kristian Petrik

I have always liked to take on challenges and help others solve issues, and a career in procurement allows me to do both.
Kristian Petrik
Client Success Manager

What is your role at SDI?

I work as a Client Success Manager, and most of my responsibilities involve supporting our clients and making sure that our program solutions perform as planned. This includes data reporting, communication, planning, negotiation, and program-level governance.

What drew you to a career in Procurement?

It was an amazing coincidence; one of my friends suggested I should give it a chance, and ever since then, procurement has become an important part of my life.
I have always liked to take on challenges and help others solve issues, and a career in procurement allows me to do both.

What attributes do you most value in people?

Honesty, accountability, and reliability.

What are your most useful and your most useless talents?

I would say that two of my most useful talents are effective communication and conflict resolution. And my most useless talent is that I am exceptionally good at recreational PC gaming.

Tell me a fun fact about yourself

Long story short, once I saved a sheep from drowning in a pool.
