Business Sustainability. Sustainable Results.

Supply Chain

In many of our programs, SDI manages supplier contracts, enables suppliers to fulfill orders and purchase them through our automation (or customers’ platforms) and existing suppliers, ensuring compliance of savings by engaging the right suppliers at the ideal negotiated price. SDI’s programs remove administrative burdens associated with procurement processes and can be designed to manage non-preferred vendors, clip-level transactions, full commodity lines or the entire direct and indirect procurement spend.  Our supply chain management capabilities allow for enhanced spend visibility and governance, integrated remittance models and supplier-funded options that relieve customers of the burden of funding the integration of select suppliers.

SDI is furthermore a proponent of ethical, responsible sourcing, which is evident in our continual drive to embrace responsibility for behavioral changes in our managed supply chain.  SDI incorporates practices and policies (both internally and in managing customer supply chains) that ensure adherence to business ethics, green policies, ethical sourcing and outreach activities.  Our commitment to sustainability, corporate citizenship and quality is reflected in our certifications:  ISO 9001:2008, SOC Type 1 and SOC Type 2.  Additionally, SDI recently achieved Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) compliance, and is certified by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).  Additionally, SDI’s quality policy governs all of our initiatives, and our corporate-wide quality agenda pledges that our programs and outsourcing activities meet and exceed our customers’ service expectations.
